Tuna Curry Over Rice

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 1 1/2 cups rice
- 1 dash salt
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 tablespoon corn oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 medium tomato, diced
- 2 (5 ounce) cans tuna in water, drained
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons curry powder
- 1 dash ground pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1 fluid ounce milk
- 1 cup water
Recipe
- 1 boil the rice as usual adding salt and turmeric powder to the water.
- 2 fry the diced onion and tomato in cooking oil.
- 3 mix in spices and flour.
- 4 add water, milk and tuna.
- 5 let this simmer for about 15 minutes.
- 6 add more flour or water depending on how thick you like the sauce.
- 7 serve on top of the rice.
