Egg Omelet

Total Time: 8 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 3 mins

Ingredients

  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 tablespoon green onion (sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons diced green peppers or 2 tablespoons red peppers
  • 1 tablespoon shredded low-fat cheddar cheese
  • salt & pepper (optional)
  • cooking spray

Recipe

  • 1 combine green onions and green peppers in a small bowl.
  • 2 separate egg yolk from whites and save whites in bowl.
  • 3 whisk egg whites.
  • 4 over medium heat use a small skillet sprayed with cooking spray.
  • 5 pour eggwhites into heated pan.
  • 6 sprinkle vegetables on top of eggwhites.
  • 7 add salt and pepper (optional).
  • 8 cover and cook for approximately four minutes.
  • 9 add cheese and replace cover for 30-45 seconds until cheese is melted.
