Strawberry Angel Dessert

Total Time: 5 hrs 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 5 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 1 (6 ounce) package strawberry gelatin
  • 2 1/2 cups boiling water
  • 1 lb frozen sliced strawberries, thawed
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 cups whipped topping
  • 10 inches angel food cake, torn into pieces
  • 1 (3 ounce) package strawberry gelatin
  • 1 3/4 cups hot water

Recipe

  • 1 dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
  • 2 stir in strawberries and sugar, chill.
  • 3 fold in whipped topping.
  • 4 cover bottom of pan with cake pieces.
  • 5 pour strawberry and whipped topping mix over the cake pieces.
  • 6 refrigerate 4-5 hours.
  • 7 cover with glaze and refrigerate until ready to use.
  • 8 to make glaze:.
  • 9 dissolve gelatin in water and chill, use when slightly thick and pour over the cake mixture.
