Tuna Vegetable Salad

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 cup celery, chopped (and or or cucumber)
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrot
  • 2 teaspoons green onions, sliced
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons snipped fresh dill
  • 1/2 teaspoon finely shredded lemon peel
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 (6 1/2 ounce) can tuna, drained and broken up
  • 4 medium tomatoes, sliced

Recipe

  • 1 in a medium bowl, combine all of the vegetables. add the mayo, dill, lemon peel, garlic powder and pepper.
  • 2 fold in tuna. cover and chill for at least an hour.
  • 3 to serve, divide sliced tomatoes amond salad plates. spoon tuna mixture over.
