Trixie's Tomato Relish

Ingredients

• 6 quarts tomatoes
• 6 cups sugar
• 2 cups vinegar
• 1 tablespoon salt
• 1 tablespoon whole cloves

Recipe

• 1 peel and seed tomatoes.
• 2 coarsely chop tomatoes and place in large pot.
• 3 add remaining ingredients and boil gently until thickened, stirring occasionally (1 1/2- 2 hours).
