Spaghetti Sauce With Mushrooms

Ingredients

- 16 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 (14 ounce) can canned whole tomatoes
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Recipe
- 1 heat oil over medium-low heat in a large skillet.
- 2 add mushrooms, onion, and garlic.
- 3 cook for 8 to 10 minutes, stir occasionally.
- 4 add remaining ingredients.
- 5 let simmer, uncovered, for about 50 minutes, or until thickness of sauce is to your liking
