Nacho Casserole

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1/2 (14.5 ounce) package tortilla chips, divided
  • 1 (8 ounce) package shredded 2% mexican cheese blend, divided
  • 1 (15 ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained, divided
  • 1/2 sweet onion, chopped
  • 1/2 (7 ounce) can green salsa (salsa verde)
  • 1/2 (7 ounce) can salsa casera
  • 1 (8 ounce) container reduced-fat sour cream
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges

Recipe

    Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins Ready Time: 30 mins

  • preheat oven to 400 degrees f (200 degrees c).
  • spread 1/2 the tortilla chips into a 10 1/2x6-inch baking dish; sprinkle with 1/2 the mexican cheese blend. layer 1/2 the black beans over cheese layer. repeat layering with remaining tortilla chips, mexican cheese blend, and black beans. spread onion over bean layer; top with salsa verde and salsa casera.
  • bake in the preheated oven until cheese is melted, about 20 minutes. top nachos with sour cream; serve with lime wedges.
