Holiday Vegan Golden Gravy

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup nutritional yeast flakes
- 1/3 cup oil or 1/3 cup margarine
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 2 -3 teaspoons soy sauce or 2 -3 teaspoons tamari
- salt & pepper, to taste
Recipe
- 1 toast flour and yeast flakes in a pan until they release a nutty aroma.
- 2 add the oil or margarine and stir until bubbly.
- 3 add the water and cook until mixture begins to thicken, stirring constantly.
- 4 add soy sauce, salt and pepper.
- 5 serve warm over tofu or other meal.
