Spanish Hot Chocolate

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 7 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 4 cups milk

Recipe

  • 1 blend the sugar and cocoa together. in a medium sized saucepan, dissolve the cornstarch in the water. add the cocoa and sugar and stir until a smooth paste is made.
  • 2 over medium heat, add the milk a little at a time while whisking.
  • 3 simmer the chocolate for 10 minutes, stirring frequently. serve hot.
