The "no Way!" Brownie

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup unbleached flour, plus
- 1 tablespoon unbleached flour
- 1/4 cup oat bran
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup skim milk powder
- 1 pinch baking soda
- 1/4 cup chocolate syrup
- 3 egg whites
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Recipe
- 1 in a large bowl combine first 6 ingredients and stir to mix well.
- 2 next (in same bowl) stir in chocolate syrup, egg whites, and vanilla. at this point you can fold in a 1/4 cup of chopped nuts, carob chips, dried fruit, etc.
- 3 coat a 8 inch square pan and an icing knife with cooking spray. (this batter is veeeery sticky, hence the use of the icing knife).
- 4 use the icing knife to spread the batter evenly into the pan and bake at 325f for 20 minutes or until edges are firm and the centre is almost set.
- 5 cool them down or eat them warm -- either way these are great!
