Praline Syrup

Ingredients

  • 2 cups dark corn syrup
  • 1/3 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup pecan pieces
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Recipe

  • 1 combine syrup, sugar, and water in a saucepan over medium high heat. bring to a boil; boil for 1 minute. remove from heat and stir in pecans and vanilla.
  • 2 pour into hot jars, leaving 1/4 inch head space. adjust caps and process in 10 minute boiling water bath.
