Easy Peach Sorbet

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 (15 1/4 ounce) can peaches in heavy syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Recipe

  • 1 place the unopend can of peaches in the freezer.
  • 2 freeze until solid, about 24 hrs.
  • 3 (don't be alarmed if the can bulges).
  • 4 when ready to make, submerge the can in very hot tap water for 1-2 minutes.
  • 5 open the can and pour any thawed liquid into the food processor bowl.
  • 6 remove the fruit from the can and cut into 8 chunks.
  • 7 place chunks in the processor bowl with the vanilla.
  • 8 process until smooth and serve immediately or spoon into a freezer container and freeze until desired firmness.
