Passionfruit Cordial

Total Time: 12 mins Preparation Time: 2 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup passion fruit pulp (approx 10-12 passionfruit)
  • 2 teaspoons citric acid
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups water

Recipe

  • 1 pour passionfruit pulp into a bowl with the citric acid & stir to combine.
  • 2 put water 7 sugar into a saucepan & simmer over a low heat until suagr dissolves, bring to the boil & simmer for 5 minutes.
  • 3 remove syrup from heat & allow to cool slightly, pour it over the passionfruit pulp & stir until combined. pour into sterilised bottles & refrigerate.
  • 4 nb/if you don't want seeds in your cordial, strain the pulp but bear in mind you'll likely need to increase the amount of passionfruits used to make up 1 cup pulp.
