Peach Sorbet

Ingredients

- 1 (14 ounce) can peaches, drained
- 1 (14 ounce) can pears, drained
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup champagne or 2/3 cup sparkling wine
Recipe
- 1 puree peaches and pears.
- 2 combine sugar and wine in a saucepan; bring to simmer.
- 3 simmer until sugar dissolves.
- 4 stir in pureed fruit.
- 5 pour into a freezerproof container; cover.
- 6 freeze for 3 hours, whisking every 30 minutes to break up crystals.
- 7 freeze for 2 hours longer or until firm.
