Rhubarb Cherry Jam

Ingredients
- 6 cups rhubarb, cut up
- 4 cups granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon almond flavoring
- 21 ounces cherry pie filling
- 6 ounces cherry gelatin
Recipe
- 1 wash and clean rhubarb, cut in small pieces.
- 2 combine rhubarb and sugar and let set overnight in glass bowl.
- 3 in the morning, boil 10 minutes.
- 4 pur pie filling in a blender and chop fine.
- 5 add this to rhubarb mixture and bring all to a boil.
- 6 remove from heat and add gelatin, stirring till dissolved.
- 7 add almond extract to personal taste -- and seal.
- 8 makes 4 pints.
- 9 may use different pie filling and coordinating gelatin flavor.
