Ingredients

- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon extract
- 1 cup vegetable oil for frying
- 1/3 cup confectioners' sugar for decoration
Recipe
- beat eggs until fluffy, add remaining ingredients and mix well. knead until smooth and elastic.
- roll thinly on floured board. cut into strips 1 x 5 inches. cut a 1 inch slit in the center of each strip and pull one end thru.
- fry in 375 degrees f (190 degrees c) oil until golden brown. sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.
