Light Spiced Chai

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 3 teaspoons chai tea
  • 3 cups water
  • 4 teaspoons dark muscovado sugar
  • 8 tablespoons nonfat milk

Recipe

  • 1 measure the loose chai into an infusion basket. insert the basket into a teapot.
  • 2 boil the water.
  • 3 immediately pour the water into the teapot, over the chai.
  • 4 steep for 4-5 minutes, then remove the infusion basket.
  • 5 get 4 mugs. pour 6 oz of the brew into each mug.
  • 6 add 1 tsp of muscovado brown sugar to each mug, and stir until dissolved.
  • 7 add 2 tsp of fat free milk to each mug.
