Strawberry Pie

Ingredients

• 1 cup sugar
• 1 1/2 cups water
• 3 tablespoons cornstarch
• 1 (3 ounce) box strawberry gelatin
• 1 quart fresh strawberries
• 1 baked pie shell (9 inch )
• 8 ounces whipped cream (optional)

Recipe

• 1 in a saucepan combine sugar, water and cornstarch.
• 2 cook on medium heat until thick.
• 3 add gelatin, remove from heat.
• 4 stir well until fully dissolved.
• 5 cool slightly and add strawberries.
• 6 pour into prepared pie shell.
• 7 refrigerate until chilled through.
• 8 serve with whipped cream.(optional).
