Easy Whole-wheat Pizza Crust

Total Time: 2 hrs 15 mins Preparation Time: 2 hrs Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons active dry yeast
  • 1 1/2 cups warm water
  • 1 1/2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/4 cups warm water
  • 1/2 cup plus 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 6 cups whole wheat flour (plus additional flour as needed)
  • 3 tablespoons rosemary

Recipe

  • 1 combine sponge ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
  • 2 stir with a wooden spoon until sponge is smooth.
