Ingredients

- 1 head red cabbage
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 3/4 cup currant jelly
- 1/2 cup boiling water
- 3 tablespoons butter or 3 tablespoons margarine
- salt
Recipe
- 1 shred cabbage and cover with boiling water, vinegar and butter.
- 2 cook and cook slowly for 45 minutes.
- 3 stir in current jelly and salt.
- 4 continue cooking until very little liguid is left in pot.
