- 100 g caster sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons water
- 1/4 lebanese cucumber, seeded, chopped finely

- 1 combine vinegar, sugar and the water in a small saucepan; stir until sugar is dissolved. boil, uncovered for 3 minutes, cool.
- 2 transfer to serving bowl and stir in cucumber.
