Strawberry Sauce (for French Toast)

Total Time: 11 mins Preparation Time: 1 min Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 2/3 cup cold water
  • 1 cup jam (strawberry, or other variation)
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • walnuts (chopped) (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 mix cornstarch and water, set aside.
  • 2 heat jam to a boil, add cornstarch mixture.
  • 3 stir constantly, bring to a boil, simmer 3 minutes.
  • 4 add lemon juice and chopped walnuts (if desired).
  • 5 spoon over french toast.
