Tennessee Honey Glazed Carrots

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 lbs carrots, scraped and thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine

Recipe

  • 1 combine carrots and water in a medium saucepan.
  • 2 bring to a boil,cover and reduce heat and simmer 8 minutes or until crisp tender.
  • 3 drain and return to pan.
  • 4 add honey and remaning ingredients,cook over low heat,stirring gently until butter and sugar melt.
