Strawberry Basil Sorbet

Total Time: 10 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • 5 1/2 cups water
  • 2 cups strawberry preserves
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Recipe

  • 1 combine water and preserves, bring to a boil, cook 2 minutes until preserves are melted.
  • 2 remove from heat, stir in basil and lemon juice.
  • 3 pour into a freezer can or an ice cream maker according to manufacturer's directions.
  • 4 spoon into a container and freeze 1 hour until firm.
