Orange Grits

Ingredients

- 2 cups water
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1 teaspoon orange peel, grated
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup brown sugar (or use spenda brown sugar blend)
- 2/3 cup grits, quick-cooking and uncooked
Recipe
- 1 in a saucepan over medium heat bring water and orange juice to a boil.
- 2 stir in grits, orange peel and salt into water/juice mixture. reduce heat to a simmer and cook stirring for 3-5 minutes or until thickened.
- 3 pour into serving dishes and sprinkle with brown sugar. let stand until sugar melts.
