Sweet And Sour Pineapple Ham Steaks

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 8 ounces crushed pineapple or 8 ounces pineapple chunks in juice
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon less sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • leftover ham slices

Recipe

  • 1 combine pineapple, vinegar, brown sugar, ketchup and soy sauce in a saucepan and heat to boiling.
  • 2 stir cornstarch with water. stir into sauce and boil 1 minute.
  • 3 spoon over warmed slices of leftover ham. serve extra sauce on the side.
