Strawberry Sorbet

Total Time: 1 hr 20 mins Preparation Time: 1 hr Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 4 cups strawberries, fresh or frozen
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Recipe

  • 1 combine sugar and water in a heavy saucepan. bring to a boil. reduce heat to low and simmer until all sugar is dissolved. remove from heat; place in refrigerator and cool completely. puree strawberries; then add lemon juice and sugar water. pour into freezing container of ice cream maker and start. churn 20-40 minutes or until desired consistency.
