Fruit Slush

Total Time: 3 hrs 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 3 hrs

Ingredients

  • 4 cups sugar
  • 4 cups water
  • 6 ounces frozen orange juice concentrate
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 46 ounces pineapple juice
  • 6 bananas (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 combine sugar and water in a medium saucepan.
  • 2 heat until sugar is dissolved.
  • 3 add orange juice concentrate, lemon juice, and pineapple juice.
  • 4 fill 6 or 7 ice cube trays with mixture.
  • 5 freeze until firm.
  • 6 remove cubes from freezer trays and store in plastic bags.
  • 7 use within 6 months.
  • 8 makes about 100 small cubes.
  • 9 fruit slush: fill a glass with fruit slush ice cubes.
  • 10 add ginger ale to cover.
  • 11 let stand 15 minutes, stir and serve.
