Top Of The Line Teriyaki Sauce

Total Time: 2 hrs 5 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 2 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 1
  • 2 ounces shredded ginger
  • 2 cups light soy sauce
  • 2 cups pineapple juice
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups caraway seeds
  • 1 1/2 cups sesame seeds
  • 8 ounces ketchup
  • 1 dash marsala wine

Recipe

  • 1 combine all ingredients and simmer for 2 1/2 hours.
  • 2 dip out some sauce and make a slurry with an equal amount of corn starch, about 2 tbs each.
  • 3 stir in slurry and stir simmering until it is the thickness you wish.
  • 4 don't add too much, or it will turn to brown jelly.
  • 5 freeze what you don't use.
