Tahini And Caraway Roast

Total Time: 1 hr 7 mins Preparation Time: 7 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon caraway seed
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 450 g carrots, cooked and mashed
  • 100 g ground sunflower seeds
  • 125 g ground pumpkin seeds
  • 100 g rolled oats, soaked and drained
  • chili, deseeded to taste (optional)
  • 1 lemon, juice of
  • 65 ml water
  • 1 tablespoon tahini
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 cook onion and garlic in a little water until soft.
  • 2 add 1/2 tsp of tamari and mix all ingredients together. add salt and pepper to taste.
  • 3 grease muffin tines and spoon in the mixture. cover with baking paper and bake for 1 hour in the oven. uncover and bake for 10-15mins to brown the top.
