Substitution For Egg Using Egg Powder

Total Time: 5 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 teaspoons egg powder
  • 2 tablespoons water

Recipe

  • 1 in recipes requiring whipped egg whites, sprinkle the egg powder over the water in the mixing bowl and immediately whip to the desired foam stage (soft peak, stiff peak).
  • 2 in most other recipes, the egg powder may be added to the dry ingredients and the water to the liquid for ease of mixing.
  • 3 refrigeration is not required.
  • 4 store egg powder tightly sealed in a cool place.
