Ingredients
- 2 lbs pinto beans
- 9 cups water
Recipe
- 1 wash and sort the beans.
- 2 bring beans to a rolling boil in a large pan of water.
- 3 reduce heat, cover and simmer 4 1/2 hours (do not drain).
- 4 blend beans in a food processor, using the liquid the beans were cooked in to reach the desired consistency.
