Floating Fruit Parfaits

Total Time: 1 hr 35 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 1 hr 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1/2 cup sliced strawberry (or cantaloupe balls)
  • 1/2 cup boiling water
  • 1 (3 1/2 ounce) package jello strawberry flavor low calorie sugar-free jello (or orange)
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 3/4 cup ice cube
  • 1 cup thawed cool whip lite, divided
  • 6 tablespoons thawed cool whip lite, divided

Recipe

  • 1 divide strawberries (or cantaloupe) between 6 tall dessert glasses.
  • 2 stir boiling water into dry jello in medium bowl at least 2 minutes til completely dissolved.
  • 3 add cold water and ice cubes, strring until ice is completely melted.
  • 4 remove 3/4 cup jello and pour evenly over berries.
  • 5 refrigerate 20 minutes or until jello is set but not firm.
  • 6 add 1 cup cool whip to remaining jello.
  • 7 stir with gently wire whisk til well blended.
  • 8 spoon evenly over jello.
  • 9 refrigerate 1 hour or until firm.
  • 10 top each parfait with 1 tbs cool whip just before serving.
  • 11 store leftovers in the refrigerator.
