cranberry-pineapple sauce
Ingredients

- 3/4 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 (12 ounce) package fresh cranberries, coarsely chopped
- 2 cups crushed pineapple with juice
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
- 2 tablespoons -based orange liqueur (such as grand marnier®) (optional)

- cook and stir orange juice, white sugar, brown sugar, and cinnamon together in a saucepan over medium heat until sugars are dissolved, about 5 minutes. stir in cranberries, pineapple, and walnuts; cook, stirring frequently, until sauce is slightly reduced and thickened, 25 to 30 minutes.
- remove saucepan from heat and stir in orange liqueur.
