Zesty Glazed Green Beans

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 cups fresh green beans
  • 1/4 cup vegetable broth
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar or 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • fresh ground pepper

Recipe

  • 1 steam green beans in broth about 7 minutes or until crisp-tender.
  • 2 stir in onions; mix well.
  • 3 combine vinegar, sugar, and cornstarch. stir into green beans. cook and stir until glossy. season with pepper.
