Steamed Chard With Candied Ginger

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 3/4 lb chard leaves
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon full-flavored olive oil
  • grated lemon zest or orange zest
  • lemon juice
  • chopped candied ginger

Recipe

  • 1 prepare chard by washing well and chopping up coarsely.
  • 2 steam leaves for 5 to 10 minutes.
  • 3 toss chard with remaining ingredients.
  • 4 serve warm or at room temperature.
