Tang-breakfast Drink Jelly

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 3 3/4 cups sugar
  • 3 cups water
  • 1/2 cup tang orange crystals, powdered drink
  • 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 (1 3/4 ounce) box fruit pectin (powdered)

Recipe

  • 1 measure sugar and set aside.
  • 2 combine remaining ingredients in a large saucepan; mix well.
  • 3 place over high heat and stir until mixture comes to a hard boil.
  • 4 immediately add all sugar and stir.
  • 5 bring to a full rolling boil and boil hard one minute, stirring constantly.
  • 6 remove from heat, skim off foam with a metal spoon, and pour quickly into half-pint glass jars.
  • 7 wipe rims, apply lids and water bath process for 10 minutes.
  • 8 remove from canner and place jars on a clean, dry towel to cool.
