Winter Stodge

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 800 g baked beans (2 cans of heinz are usually best for this)
  • 500 g new potatoes
  • 500 g ground beef (1 can of corned or ground is usually enough)
  • 1 medium onion (chopped or diced)
  • egg (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 fry the onions until soft in a little oil or butter, depending on your taste, then add the beans.
  • 2 heat the mix gently and stir continuously to prevent sticking.
  • 3 add the potatoes (you can cut them to prefered size) and keep stirring until thoroughly cooked.
  • 4 serve in a large bowl with a fried egg on top, or part of a main meal.
