Winter Squash And Apples (slow Cooker)

Total Time: 16 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 6 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 (2 lb) butternut squash (pealed and seeded)
  • 2 apples (cored and sliced)
  • 1 medium onion (quartered and sliced)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons butter

Recipe

  • 1 cut squash into 2 inch pieces and place in slow cooker. add apples and onions. sprinkle salt and pepper and stir well. cook on low for 6 to 7 hours.
  • 2 just before serving, combine brown sugar, cinnamon, and butter and stir in with squash, apples, and onions. add additional salt and pepper to taste.
