Winter Squash And Apples (slow Cooker)

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 (2 lb) butternut squash (pealed and seeded)
- 2 apples (cored and sliced)
- 1 medium onion (quartered and sliced)
- 1 1/2 tablespoons butter
Recipe
- 1 cut squash into 2 inch pieces and place in slow cooker. add apples and onions. sprinkle salt and pepper and stir well. cook on low for 6 to 7 hours.
- 2 just before serving, combine brown sugar, cinnamon, and butter and stir in with squash, apples, and onions. add additional salt and pepper to taste.
