Kiwi Ice

Total Time: 6 hrs 30 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 6 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 12 kiwi fruits, peeled, cubed
  • 2 cups orange juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 1/3 cups corn syrup

Recipe

  • 1 puree the kiwi and orange juice in a blender or food processor until very smooth.
  • 2 pour through a sieve to remove the tiny seeds.
  • 3 stir in the corn syrup.
  • 4 pour into a non metal container and freeze for about 3 hours or until almost firm.
  • 5 place in food processor bowl and process until fluffy.
  • 6 return to freezer and freeze until firm.
  • 7 to serve, let stand at room temperature about 20 minutes and then spoon into serving dishes.
  • 8 garnish with a sprig of mint and orange slice if desired.
